This position's main responsibility is to manage production applications, assuring their security, availability, and responsiveness. Maintain operational safety, productivity, efficiency, and quality through assisting users. Collaboration with the production team leaders, specialists, and consultants engaged to improve production processes on a continuous basis.
You will be accountable for the following tasks while reporting to the Supervisor Production Information:
- Develop and program comprehensive end-user programs, as well as provide support for them.
- Production application functional analysis, technical specification, and documentation in accordance with service level agreements.
- Project management for development and upgrade.
- Control of change and access.
- Audits of production application systems, both internal and external.
- Collaborate with consultants and contractors on projects.
- You should have a Computer Science degree or equivalent, a solid technical expertise in relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL Server), and experience designing Oracle applications.
- APEX, Oracle Development Tools (Oracle Forms & Reports), programming languages (Oracle PL/SQL, C#, SQL), experience with mobile application development and maintenance, ability to work with Version Control Systems (PVCS, Git, or any), server administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferably, MS Windows Server), virtualization technology (VMware preferably, Hyper-V, or other), and containerization technology (Docker or other), with three years of experience
