Oásis Moçambique is a Christian non-governmental organization that works in the area of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, Water and Sanitation, Agriculture, Fishing, Revolving Credit Savings, Since its establishment in the city of Beira in 2005 (BR III Serie n°37 September 14, 2005) has worked in preventive health, adult literacy, revolving credit savings, agriculture, fisheries, gender-based violence prevention, preschool education, and citizenship promotion. OASIS Mozambique is recruiting one (1) Project Manager with experience in Anti-Human Trafficking projects, or related areas.
Location: Maputo, Rua da Resistência 297 Bairro da Malhangalene A
Position summary:
The Project manager will be under the supervision of the National Director based in Maputo and will be responsible for training and establishing strategies for interception of Potential Victims, and carrying out activities at the national level, currently with a project in Maputo City Maputo province through the Monitors (field officers) of Oasis Mozambique, as well as providing timely and relevant information to project donors. This involves rigorous communication with all stakeholders: Contributors involved in design and coordination, donors, local government, and others.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise traffic monitors and enable them to succeed in their work;
Oversee the timely completion of all essential project management processes, including:
Monitor training;
Financial requests and budget management;
Data collection and verification;
Victim involvement and empowerment;
Investigations and lawsuits;
Identification of potential sites for project expansion;
Administration and human resources.
Communication / reporting expectations:
Weekly meetings with the Director of Oasis Mozambique;
Weekly meetings with national champions/managers of Love Justice International;
Biweekly meetings with the Regional Director of Love Justice International;
Reply to all Love Justice International emails or WhatsApps within 24 hours;
Coordinate with the Love Justice Mozambique champion and seek guidance for particularly sensitive or tricky situations,
Requirements:
Degree in Project Management, Administration or related areas;
Minimum experience of 2 years in Project Management in an international organization or national organizations against human trafficking or Gender-Based Violence;
Experience working with numerical data and the ability to produce analysis and reports;
Excellent prioritization and time management skills, and the ability to work proactively, efficiently, and effectively;
Experience in managing monitoring teams, volunteers, and external consultants;
Ability to function independently or with minimal supervision;
Speak and write fluently Portuguese and English;
Strong skills in using MS Excel Word, PowerPoint;
Using a data management software program is an advantage.
