The ComuSanas Association intends to recruit two (2) District Assistants for Monitoring & Evaluation for YCM (Adolescent Jovem Mentor), based in Dondo and Nhamatanda to respond to the MwanaSana project implemented in Sofala Province.
Post Description:
The implementation of the Young Adolescents for Young Adolescents (AJpAJ) strategy, is intended to improve adherence and retention in the care and treatment of HIV+ adolescents and young people with the support and support of HIV-positive young mentors. The AJpAJ strategy will also support the identification and linkage to care and treatment of HIV-infected adolescents;
The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant works as a member of a multidisciplinary team and under the supervision of the Provincial M&E Officer and is responsible for supporting Technical Officers and Community Stakeholders in project reporting and management, decision making and integration support, ensuring the quality of information and monitoring and evaluation processes (enrollment and follow-up of beneficiaries);
Due to the position, he will have to make frequent trips to the Health Units and clubs within the district.
Functions:
Support the correct registration of processes and tools, correct completion of monthly reporting forms, data analysis, and feedback to clinical service providers;
Compile and report numerical and narrative M&E Officer reports with the implementation team;
Technically support autonomously in the operationalization of the Monitoring and Evaluation system used for data documentation, ensuring quality data;
Ensure the documentation, cleanliness, and tidiness of M&E files;
Train community stakeholders and programs in basic concepts of monitoring and evaluation, so that their STAFF knowledgeably implements the program;
Routine information analysis to contribute to improving the provision of clinical services and psychosocial support for PLHIV;
Support the correct registration of processes and tools, correct completion of monthly reporting forms, data analysis, and feedback to clinical service providers
Plan and execute data analysis Monthly, quarterly, semiannually, and annually data quality (DQA);
Support in the regular ordering and delivery of CVs to patients and the resumption of ART in infected children;
Carry out and supervise data collection, receive and compile data every month and support feedback at the level of community stakeholders;
Carry out TA and spot-checks and triangulation of data, ensuring that the results are in line with the project's goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Public Health, Social Sciences or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years experience in health care M&A or programming, including database management and analysis;
Experience of working in HIV/AIDS programs within the National Health System with US donors CDC, USAID, PEPFAR;
Good knowledge and applications of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ACCESS);
Possess basic knowledge of English;
Knowledge of electronic and physical basis DHIS2, SESP, SPSS, Power BI;
Proven ability to develop, implement and coordinate M&E activities with PLHIV;
General knowledge of HIV and AIDS prevention, care, and support.
