The ComuSanas Association intends to recruit one (1) Provincial Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer for YCM (Young Mentor Adolescent) based in Beira to respond to the MwanaSana project implemented in Sofala Province.
Post Description:
The implementation of the Young Adolescents for Young Adolescents (AJpAJ) strategy, is intended to improve adherence and retention in the care and treatment of HIV+ adolescents and young people with the support and support of HIV-positive young mentors. The AJpAJ strategy will also support the identification and linkage to care and treatment of HIV-infected adolescents;
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer works as a member of a multidisciplinary team and under the supervision of the M&E Manager and is responsible for supporting Technical Officers in project reporting and management, decision making and integration support, ensuring the quality of information and monitoring and evaluation processes (enrollment and follow-up of beneficiaries).
Functions:
Participate in collaboration with the technical team in membership clubs according to MISAU rules;
Strengthen follow-up of adolescents and their partners as a pair and refer, if necessary, to APSS or clinicians;
Ensure the organization and supervision of mentoring AJ mentoring activities;
Define AJ mentoring activities to identify HIV+ adolescents at the HU and community level and their link to care;
Strengthen and monitor the impact of Adolescents and Young Mentors program interventions;
Ensuring the quality of data in the different areas of intervention for progress;
Recommend practical tools and methodologies for aggregating data from multiple sources and reporting back on them;
Conduct field visits to project sites for project design, monitoring, and evaluation;
Carry out the periodic and systematic collection and analysis of data and project result indicators;
Support SDSMAS and Health Units (US) in the operationalization of the M&E system of the Ministry of Health's HIV program, ensuring quality data;
Train M&E Assistants, Program Officers in basic M&E concepts, so that their STAFF knowledgeably implements the program;
Requirements:
- Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, M&E, Statistics, Mathematics, Demography, Social Sciences or related areas, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation of health care or programming, including database management and analysis;
- Experience working on HIV/AIDS programs within the National Health System with US donors CDC, USAID, PEPFAR;
- Good knowledge and applications of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access)
- Proficient in English (spoken and written);
- Knowledge of electronic offices such as DHIS2, SESP, SPSS, and Power BI;
- Proven ability to develop, implement and coordinate M&E activities with PLHIV;
- General knowledge of HIV and AIDS prevention, care, and support for Adherence.
