Job Posting Onshore Material Management Superintendent

Role:

To organize the Company strategy in the area of Inventory Accuracy and ensure an uninterrupted warehouse service in the best interest of the End User Departments. Oversee inventories using a computerized tracking system and provide leadership to other member staff. Reduce warehouse service costs. Improvement of the warehouse services, development, and introduction of new systems aimed to increase warehouse effectiveness. Increase in warehouse services profitability. This position reports directly to the Operations Logistics Manager

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision to subordinates by managing and directing activities of personnel engaged in material warehousing, shipping, receiving the distribution, and inventory storage conforming to Coral FLNG S.A. procedure.
• Liaisons between C&P and supplier to control the Supply Chain and monitor the lead time.
• Liaisons with Customs and shipping department to act as Inventory Team Leader and participate in the Quarterly and Annual Physical Inventories and reclassification of goods belonging to the Company. 
• Responsible that all materials movements being recorded and tracked on the SAP system. 
• To plan in agreement with line managers and Finance Dept. inventory control, achieve balance sheet targets, and mitigate inventory risk.
• Responsible for the correctness of data entries and material documents filing system.
• To support the warehouse's team in the implementation of the SAP system (Materials Management System). 
• To support the Maintenance Dept to replenish the 2 years' spare parts and MRP. 
• To prepare material storage recommendations for the employees taking into account goods storing procedures, best counting practices, and easy material accessibility for the collection of orders.
• Implement and update the MRP management system and support Maintenance dept. as well as participate in the development and realization of procedures to increase the effectiveness of warehouse activities and proposals on warehouse services improvement.
• Ensure that all HSE&Q requirements related to material handling, lifting equipment, and storage transportation are fully understood and met as per Coral FLNG S.A. procedure/policy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• The job holder must have a high school education and at least 10 years of materials management experience in the oil industry, good organizational ability, and good knowledge of Supply Chain Management and good knowledge of Logistic & Material Management processes. 
• To be able to demonstrate a proven and successful track record in such positions, able to work in a multi-cultural environment, be flexible, a team player, and drive to meet or excel in performance requirements. 
• A significant understanding of the safe operations requirements for transportation, warehouse, workshop, cold store, and yard operations Work requires a comprehensive, practical knowledge of a technical field with the use of analytical judgment and decision-making abilities appropriate to the work environment of the organization.

• Knowledge and experience in Materials Management.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Team player skills, frequent interaction with other disciplines and third parties. 
• Manages own time and establishes priorities.
• Knowledge Acquisition and Application processes & procedures.
• Proficient PC skills for MS office suite programs etc., also extensive knowledge and proficiency with material management programs.
• Fluent English in written & spoken
