Production Manager position available

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that things are manufactured in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist management in determining objectives and requirements.
• Prepare budgets and cost reports for production regularly.
• To make manufacturing more efficient, divide duties and tasks among the crew.
• Resolve any issues that arise.
• Evaluate performances and improvise practices regularly.
• Inspect machinery, employees, and units regularly.
• Ensuring that the inventory of all equipment and supplies is kept up to date and that they are replenished.
• Ensure that the legislation, as well as health and safety protocols, are followed.
• Approve routine maintenance.
• Sanctioned equipment purchases.
• Follow the company's policies and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a director or manager in production; Bachelor's degree in business administration or comparable subjects;
• Extremely thorough understanding of production management, risk management, and safety requirements;
• Excellent time management, organization, and leadership abilities;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and basic computer abilities;
• Self-assured and capable decision-maker with keen attention to detail;
• Portuguese and English fluent (written and spoken).
