Job description:

• Operate a self-propelled classifier to spread and level dirt, gravel, and stone with specifications in the construction and maintenance of earthmoving structures.
• Drive grader and move the levels to the regular height and angle of the blade to loosen the packed ground to allow classification.
• It can perform fine or rough classifications.
• Adjust the manual wheels and pedals to control the blade and bucket accessories, as well as the scrapers and swing booms.
• Operate a variety of heavy equipment such as graders, front and loader, excavator, cranes and compact.
• Maneuvering equipment with blades attached in successive movements in work areas in order to move rocks, vegetation or earth-part and to spread and level terrain.
• Safe and efficient operation of D5 dozers to meet production targets.
• Perform pre-trip/tour safety inspections and complement the daily assessment of the field risk level for all activities.
• The safe and efficient operation of cat 336 model excavators is an asset.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Technical level is required.
• Certification in Heavy Machines Operation.
• Minimum experience between three (3) to five (5) years of dozer, excavator grade operation in surface mining environment.
• Know how different types of machines work, how to repair them. And as the different parts of the machine work together, strong mechanical skills.
• Proven ability and understanding to operate and solve heavy equipment problems.
• Must be able to read manual operation of the equipment.
• Should be able to complete the pre-shift inspection report.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to perform functions safely.

• Up to MZN 459,000.00 per annum (gross) depending upon previous experience.
